Project Overview
Phonon, the sponsoring party, currently uses a Solitec track system to complete the beginning stages of their photolithography process. Although this system is effective, it is getting old and replacement parts are becoming harder to come by. It is becoming critical to find a solution that does not include buying expensive replacement parts or a replacement for the entire system. It is the aim of this group to come up with a design and implement a control system for the existing machine.
In the time frame of approximately 28 weeks (2 Semesters), the content of this site will consist of our weekly progress reports, photos and documentation of our progress, and any other important information we see fit to put up.
